Le service International
Since its creation in 1993, Strate has been training designers open to the world. Throughout their course, our students will be able to study, collaborate and evolve alongside other cultures, other visions, both inside and outside the school.
Le service international est le service clé :
- For Strate students wishing to do an exchange semester, an internship or a project abroad
- For foreign students wishing to integrate Strate
- For the setting up of partnerships with foreign universities/schools and companies

During their design curriculum at Strate, students will spend a certain number of months abroad, in order to discover and experience other cultures, to get acquainted with other methodologies, to build and develop their network.
Several possibilities exist, including the opportunity to spend a semester in a partner school during the first semester of the 4th year. Here is the list of our partner schools, in Europe and on all continents.

As a signatory of the Erasmus + charter and a member of the WDO and the Cumulus network, which federates the majority of design and arts schools in the world, Strate has concluded numerous partnerships with schools and universities from the 5 continents, with which it exchanges students, teachers and educational actions.

The World Design Organization is a non-profit organization that promotes and develops the interests of the industrial design profession. Founded in 1957 in Europe, WDO provides an international platform and a unified voice for over 50 nations. Recognized as a design council by the United Nations since 1963, WDO brings together professional associations, promotional societies, educational institutions, companies and design agencies to provide a range of services.

Strate is a member of the international association CUMULUS since May 2000. This association brings together more than 300 major schools and universities of art, media and design throughout the world. CUMULUS is above all a formidable network that allows and facilitates student and teacher exchanges in more than 60 countries.

Strate participates in the ERASMUS+ program which favors exchanges organized in the framework of partnership agreements between European universities. Strate is a signatory of the Erasmus+ charter: the new Erasmus+ charter.
Des designers ouverts sur le monde
With a profession that knows no borders, the designer looks at the diversity of the world to integrate it into his or her thinking. In the 4th year, our students must spend a semester abroad (academic exchange, internship or study trip).
Throughout the curriculum, students are trained in English to take the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) in the 5th year, regardless of the program selected:

Academic exchange
Our students have the opportunity to be selected for a semester of exchange in one of our partner schools. In prestigious universities, they will be able to reinforce and deepen their knowledge of their original field of study, or to learn new artistic practices such as sculpture, material work, glass blowing...

Internship abroad
Rather than continuing to take courses, some students prefer to immerse themselves in a more professional reality and carry out their semester abroad as an intern. Strate's network allows our students to integrate all types of structures (agencies, studios, large companies...).

For our most mature and brilliant students, the study abroad trip allows them to develop a project or a study in an identified country or geographical area for several months.
Wonderful study trips take place on all continents, supervised by a teacher and validated by the Strate pedagogical team.

La reconnaissance internationale de Strate
Strate School of Design is recognized in France and internationally, both by public institutions and professional associations.
ECTS credits : The different Strate courses allow you to validate ECTS credits each semester and thus acquire international equivalences.

Membre de la WDO et du réseau Cumulus, qui fédère la majorité des écoles de design et d’arts du monde, Strate a conclu de nombreux partenariats avec des écoles et des universités des 5 continents avec lesquelles elle échange étudiants, enseignants et actions pédagogiques.
Strate réaffirme son engagement pour l’excellence académique et la transparence dans la mobilité internationale en appliquant un système de notation harmonisé, assurant une compréhension claire et cohérente des résultats par ses partenaires et étudiants à l’échelle mondiale.

Strate École de Design utilise un système de notation numérique sur une échelle de 0 à 20.

Les étudiants ne peuvent obtenir des crédits ECTS que pour les cours validés avec une note égale ou supérieure à 10.

La sélection pour le programme Erasmus+ se fait sur la base des résultats académiques, de la motivation et des compétences linguistiques, conformément aux critères de sélection et aux modalités d'accès définis par l'établissement.
Nos deux campus, Strate Paris et Strate Lyon, sont signataires de la Charte Erasmus+, témoignant de notre engagement envers les valeurs du programme: excellence académique, égalité des chances, responsabilité environnementale et apprentissage sans frontières :

Si l’étudiant ne valide pas certains éléments pédagogiques durant sa période de mobilité, il sera tenu de repasser les examens correspondants dans l’établissement d’accueil, conformément aux dispositions prévues par le règlement intérieur.
Le participant en situation de handicap et ou en affection de longue durée et ou boursier échelon 6 ou 7 peut bénéficier d'une bourse Erasmus+ spécifique complémentaire.
