Where to stay near Strate?
The various housing benefits available to students have been revised by article 12 of law n°2022-1158, effective August 16, 2022. Personal housing subsidies such as APL, ALF and ALS have been upgraded.
Students can now benefit from housing assistance if they meet the following conditions:
- French or foreign nationals with a valid residence permit
- Rent decent accommodation that meets current standards.
- Not be related to the owner.
- Have resources (e.g. a grant) that do not exceed certain ceilings.
In the case of shared accommodation, students can place an ad on the “Strate Students” facebook page and also benefit from housing assistance, calculated by dividing the rent by the number of flatmates. It's important to note that each roommate must make his or her own application for assistance.
